SOUTHBOUND LANE OF HWY. 1 CLOSED SOUTH OF LUCIA
MONTEREY COUNTY – The southbound lane of Hwy. 1 south of Lucia is closed for approximately 200 feet due to storm related damage to the shoulder of the highway. The northbound lane of traffic remains open.
Temporary guardrail has been placed along the shoulder of the southbound lane with stop signs on either end. Motorists will use one-way reversing traffic control via stop signs which will be in place 24/7 until further notice.
Motorists can expect a minimal delay.
All businesses in the area remain open to the public.
