“6-9:00pm – Dinner, Raffle & Entertainment: Hot Box Harry band and Rise-Up Singing
8:15pm – Live auction begins
We recommend Check or Cash to pay for Auction Items (no card fees).

Here are just a few representative items for the auction:

LaVerne sent me many more photos (11 total) and all of the raffle items are gorgeous, including a quilt by Nadine Clark; a photograph by Bill Burleigh, photo and artwork by Dale Diesel; and many more. You may have noticed I am trying to cut down on the number and size of photos, when possible lately, as I am watching the space I have available, even with the paid version I now have, dwindle. The time may come when I have to migrate to my own website from wordpress, but given the size of my blog, I am not looking forward to that time. Until then, I will be conserving “space” when possible.

  • Great art work here! Love it, and the only Condor I have ever seen was in Big Sur. :) Thanks for this post and I hope the fundraiser goes well!

    • There usually is at the Forager's Festival in January, sponsored jointly by Ventana and Post Ranch. It is a fund-raiser for our Health Center.

    • There is local artwork for sale all over Big Sur ... Several shops and Galleries in Village Shops next to River Inn, including Local Color; they carry some at the gift shop at Ventana, which often has a show going on in the Restaurant, with art for sale; also at Loma Vista next to the Big Sur Bakery. The Hermitage has a whole gift shop dedicated to art, fruit and date cakes, and other items by the monks, almost anywhere one stops in Big Sur one can find art, jewelry, clothing, photography, books - whatever you can imagine.
