Halloween Cat, and other photos

Here is Midnight, my kitten, fast growing up. Her sister, Moonlight, is identical. I tell them apart by two things: the tiny white tuffs in Midnight’s ears, and their personalities. Moonlight would never sit still for a portrait!

That one, and the ones which follow, we’re all taken Wednesday, the day of the big storm, when the sun came out, just before sunset.

  1. yOUR KITTY… is it all brown/sable? Looks like a burmese, the only all brown cat. Generally females get to 7#, males to 9#. Sweetest and most people oriented cats in the world imho. BEAUTIFUL!

  2. She is a typical Big Sur cat. Who knows her heritage? She appears black, in most light, but in others appears deep brown. Her sister seems to be a brown/black striped, in some light, but black in others. Midnight is very people-oriented, while Moonlight is very adventurous!

  3. Lovely images Kate, your cat is beautiful and I love both their names as well as their personalities for each. Happy Weekend, love your report on the 1st rain in an earlier blog as well. Nice down here in the campground tonight. Take Care.
    Hugs, Pam

  4. It has been so long since I have been able to freely roam to my blog friends that I missed out on hearing of your feline friends. She is gorgeous! I like the warmth and shadow ply in the door photo. Very cool, Kate.
