Less than two weeks … Oct 11, 12, 13th. We still need a few volunteers to help with parking – a 4 hour shift. You get fed, a T-shirt, (based on availability) and lots of good music and fun. Drop me an email at kwnovoa@mac.com if you can help. As always, the weather is expected to grace us. “A long stretch of dry and warm autumn weather should last through the second week” of October.

  • I always get surprised by the Jade Fest turning up, can it be October already, well, yes. I love the weather news, thanks Kate, hot ziggity summer's finally here, too. Pesky global warming kept me in my knee-high Uggs all year through til last week.

    • Yes, tomorrow brings October. September was cooler than usual, but up here, plenty warm - both during the day, and at night. Started sleeping with all the windows open again.
