Overnight steady rain started just after sunset in Carmel Valley. What is that sound, I'm thinking. Ah. Rainfall. It was such a gentle kiss. Ended before dawn, left a glistening, a pungent aromas we're all famous for and love.
Lighter than expected in Carmel Highlands and (upper) Pebble Beach. No accurate totals but everything got a good drink. Definitely not 3/4'.
Well, it is not over, yet, Mike! What a beautiful description, Barbara. Done here it started very quietly ... More of a drizzle than rain, bout 1:30 am. By 2:30 am, it was definitely rain, although as you said, a gentle kiss.
