More freezing temps

Overview (from NOAA)

Another round of cold temperatures are expected for Monday Night into Tuesday Morning. Lows will drop to the upper teen to 20s for inland locations with most coastal areas in the upper 20s to mid 30s.
TIMING
10 PM tonight until 9 AM Tuesday Morning.
LOCATIONS
All locations except for the city of San Francisco.
IMPACTS

*Hazards:
Freeze warning in effect.
*Impact 1 (most significant) :
High confidence for another round of cold temperatures.
Increased risk for hypothermia due to freezing temperatures for those living outdoors, including animals.
Sensitive plants can be damaged or killed if left unprotected
*Impact 2 (if necessary):
Freezing conditions will lead to areas of slick roads.

  1. we’re still 31 or 32 for tonite. light snow turned to rain and dripping, melting snow. who could imagine Maine warmer than California in December. stay warm

  2. I sure couldn’t believe it, but here we are … Been freezing temps for I quite a while, and I’ve had 26 for at least 5 nites. I am ready to move to Maine. Some Big Surians who moved to Maine several years ago are out here in Big Sur with family. Probably wishing they were warm in Maine!

    I do all the clothing layering.
    The only thing that really works is the mad bomber hat.

  4. Just heard from a cousin in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada where there are arctic conditions of minus 40 degrees farenhite. So bless our temps in Big Sur!
