There is a big boulder in the road near the Deli. As those who live here know, this might just be the first of many. This is in the area burned in the Pfeiffer Fire in December. Fortunately we are not getting pounded like Marin – 6″ in 12 hours, and parts of Sonoma are approaching 12″ of rain. Still, be aware, pay attention, and SLOW DOWN!

Traffic way dropped off suddenly on CV Road, maybe something fell here or at mouth-of, too? Just read about a boulder -- size of a car, yesterday I think, dropped on train tracks in France and killed two, injuries, and made me think of Highway 1 about an hour ago, looks like similar terrain, they're having horrendous storms. 30 foot waves in Britain pounding coastal towns, 80mph winds, amazing pix, posted some on my blog. Not Hawaiian surf landing on shores, but waves three times the height of thatched roof cottages!
I'm guessing if we get some steady downpours like you posted about north of us we're in for flooding. Stay safe.
