  1. I am so thankful that I listened to my dear wife’s advice, to just stay put and lay low at the school, instead of trying to do my commercial fishing in the storm, and have to be out driving on the highway with slides and boulders coming down. I even cancelled my weekend “town-run”. And in staying here, I have had a chance to get some needed rest, paint two new watercolors and carve another jade surfboard, do a big cleaning/reorganization job on my classroom, and take care of some of my backlog of “honey-do’s” around the school. For y’all who must be “on the road” keep slow and safe!
…it is those little sharp rocks, that blend in with the asphalt, which can blow out tires, and make big trouble!
