ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR JULY 13 –

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, July 13, through Sunday, July 20, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Big Sur – Carmel: July 13 – July 18
Night time striping and markings replacement along Highway 1 at multiple locations from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The locations are:
Sunday, July 13 – Carmel River Bridge to just north of Garrapata Creek Bridge
Monday, July 14 – Yankee Point Drive/Malpaso Rd. to just south of Hurricane Point
Tuesday, July 15 – Garrapata Creek Bridge to south of Molera Park Entrance
Wednesday, July 16 – South of Bixby Creek Bridge to Grimes Canyon
Thursday, July 17 – North of Molera Park Entrance to Grimes Canyon
Work hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Sundays
Work will result in reversing one-way traffic control.
Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
Highway 1 –South Coast: July 15 – July 18
Daytime work along Highway 1 between Pacific Valley and Vicente Creek Bridge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
Highway 1 – Big Sur: July 17 – July 18
Daytime shoulder work along Highway 1 between the Big Sur Maintenance Station and Garrapata Ridge Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 1 – Big Sur: July 15
Daytime pavement repair along Highway 1 between the Big Sur State Park Entrance and Hurricane Point from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
