I'm so sorry (and angry) that the residents of Big Sur have to deal with such unbelievably mindless people.

This Monday I was in Big Sur. Each time I'm there I feel so privileged to be able to experience such beauty. As I was heading back north to Carmel, I pulled onto a side road so I could look up into the branches of a redwood and pat its bark.

Just know that there are many of us who don't live there but are with you heart and soul in protecting your area and are respectful of it when we get to return and enjoy it again. Keep up your wonderful blog!
