Wildfire at Pogonip Preserve in Santa Cruz

12:30 pm – currently it is 5 acres. It is causing some traffic issues with looky-loos on Highway 9 and Coolridge, per the CHP.

On another note, a bear has been spotted in the area of Garapatta State Beach, Garapatta, and the Trout Farm.
