Foto Friday, 1/8/16

First Foto Friday of the year, and seems odd to be typing 2016 – or in this case – 16. First, from Mike Morales.

This next one is by Dan Danbom.

Both of these were taken last week, and they both show the spiritual side of Big Sur, which is a huge part of who she is.

Appointed appellate counsel for indigent defendants (retired.) I have lived in Big Sur since 1984, first on the north coast, and on the South Coast since 1989.

  • Thank you for showing my image on Foto Friday Kate. Dan, your image is amazing. All the colors of the coast in one scene.

  • Oh my gosh!!!
Gotta break out me Emergency Watercolor Set again, as soon as I get all the vulture and condor poop washed and scrubbed off the classroom ramp and railing (They roost in the trees above the classroom, along with about 800 monarch butterflies)
...And I am going to be restoring and painting the front sign to our school.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! The love of the photographers for their subject is clear, and so is the love of the subject for the photographers. Sublime.
