Big Sur Flow Study Meeting March 24, 2016,
Grange Hall 3:00 – 5:00 pm
The Department of Fish and Wildlife will present the results of the recently completed Big Sur flow study. At the time the Big Sur Watershed Management Plan was completed, flow study results were not available. This is an opportunity for interested community members to learn about the results of the study and ask questions. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.

That's a pretty photo subject.
Little Sur River mouth?
I'm not sure, but it doesn't look right ... Similar, but ...of course, no telling when it was taken/

Kate, I took that photo of the Big Sur River mouth where it comes out at Molera State Park on May 1, 2006. It was the day after we ran the Big Sur Marathon and we hiked the steep East Molera Trail to the redwood ridge at 1,550 feet. Fantastic views. We'll be back to Big Sur at the end of April and I'm hoping to complete my 14th Big Sur Marathon. Unfortunately, my pneumonia diagnosis in ER last Saturday may make it even a longer shot! Looking forward to more Big Sur trail hikes ... the wildflowers must be lovely. Margie
Tanks for sharing the history of this photo, Margie. Quite lovely.
