TV Shoot at Grimes, 4/2/16

From Mid-Coast Fire Brigade:

“Tomorrow a crew will be shooting scenes for a TV show at the Grimes Ranch. The shoot is limited to the Grimes Ranch on Highway 1. Nothing will take place in Palo Colorado. The shoot has been permitted by Cal Trans, Monterey County and CHP. This shoot will also include the permitted use of a drone by FAA and Monterey County.
Plan on possible delays as people slow down on HIghway 1to look at what’s going on.”

  1. Please include The Big Sur Community Grange among your list of non-profits. We are the original non-profit and the original and only non- commercial community center in Big Sur. We have real expenses. We have real needs from community members that wish to volunteer.
We are an active Grange, members of the Patrons of Husbandry, originally formed in 1867. A Grange, first and foremost, is a group of passionate people dedicated to serving their community. Here in Big Sur we are fortunate to also have a Grange Hall, a friendly, beautiful facility where Grange members and other community organizations can meet and gather for all kinds of events and activities.
The Grange publishes The Round Up monthly. The Grange has a work and clean up day on the first Saturday of every month with great food and Acme coffee. The Grange has an important meeting open to all Grange members on the first Tuesday of the month (April 5) at 7pm, 6:30 for potluck and organic taco bar.The Grange is having a benefit April 17 at 4pm, The Big Sur Music Revue. 2. Cody, happy to add the Grange to the list. My non-profit “list” consists only of non-profits who have a web link, which The Grange did not have when I originally created this, 8 years ago. Now that The Grange has such a website, it is easy to add. I also am copying and posting this as its own post to emphasize your presence and up-coming events.

  3. Big Sur Kate: Kindly how do I contact you directly? I’d like to pick your brain about photo locations avail. currently in Big Sur. minding Covid, of course. I have a smallish private project coming up late July / early August. Thank you!
