Bummer! Why can't some people just leave folk's stuff alone? Some sort of feeling of entitlement?
Can you find a sign (or I'll make you one) that says THIS PROPERTY IS UNDER CAMERA SURVEILANCE to discourage such nonsense. It's terribly disturbing to have this kind of thing happen. I'm especially sorry it happened to you All other thoughts aside it punctures some sense of general good, and that crappy people are in the vicinity.
