Hello Big Sur!
A quick reminder!
We are inviting you to the Big Sur Chamber of Commerce mixer. The Mixer will
be held May 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM. at Café Kevah which is located
on the first level of Nepenthe, adjacent to the The Phoenix.
The first 15-20 minutes of the mixer will be a brief history of the Big Sur
Chamber of Commerce and to let you know we will be scheduling a membership
meeting in the next 30-60 days to address the need to elect Board of
Directors, evaluate current web site goals, address Big Sur visitation level
issues, etc. Afterwards the time is available to socialize and and enjoy the
panoramic views and to reintroduce ourselves to our business associates and
neighbors.

the Big Sur Chamber of Commerce mixer.

Just to let people know there is a big brown bear at top of willow creek... broke into my tent and ate a loaf of bread and left big paw marks on ice chest, but didn't eat the berries. I'm told he took the ice chest of Jack Doors once which had chilli peppers and then howled for awhile... so maybe he doesn't open ice chests anymore. But he came back at 6 PM in daylight and marched right up to my tent again and car. When I turned on the engine he ran back down the hill... so I vacated all food and left a note that the site was not open to public camping... but spread the word he is around as it is a busy week end!
