So sorry to read this. Very smoky all day in Carmel Valley; many bulldozers reported in old CV airport this morning early but way too socked in for any flights.
Just this minute heard that all the bulldozers at the CV airport this morning are going to be used to make a fire line in Carmel Valley, not on hold for the Bixby-Big Sur fire. (Does this fire have a name?)
The Soberanes Fire encompasses the entire area including CV
Anybody have an idea which way the fire is moving in this area?
