  1. Kate, thanks for the posts! are you safe????
The Chimney Fire has an expected containment date of 8/29? wow – is there something I am not understanding – it seems to be growing and spreading fast…

  2. They always seem to start out optimistic, but that is 8 days out, and it is 35% contained. Maybe it is realistic, I don’t know. We will find out in the next few days.

  3. Yep, will find out on 8/29 😉

Kate, where is your home perch? Coordinates will do if you have them. Ill ind you on Google Earth. What a wonder that is. I have gone so many places via Google Earth and the beauty is, it is free and my bed is much more comfy than an economy airliner seat.

I am curious to see what it is that you can see.

Have a good evening knowing so many of us are grateful for you and your assistants on this site.
