Noticed this morning the lack of traffic from Hwy 41 into Morro Bay.
The 3 mile section from Cerro Alto Campground to where the road debouches from the hills towards Morro Bay is particularly susceptible to slides.
And in the daylight photo, one can see the chain netting holding back the part of the hill south of the slide. It will be a while until it opens.
