  1. I was in town this AM and the CHP website mentioned a new slide at PM 32 which is just S of Esalen. I waited 20 minutes for a fallen tree in the Highlands and got to this slide just before 10am. PM 35, as you said. I saw some people crawling over it who turned out to be friends. I followed them back over and they gave me a ride home. I hear now an official presence is preventing people from walking over it.

  2. Wow, this slide alone looks like a week’s worth of work moving all that debris.

  3. wow that is really bad. Another storm tomorrow. It is really bad over there especially because of the fire. The trees are all gone and the water is just going to flow. Sad. Wow wow wow

  4. We are thinking of you in Big Sur. Glad for the rain but sorry that it had to come ALL at once. We hope to attend the workshop the first of March but it is looking mighty bleak….but we are keeping the Om going.

  5. Heads-up to folks on Plaskett Ridge Rd, a big tree is over the road, just below Sunshine Alley, .8 mi from Hwy 1.
