Given the totals of the rain amounts so far, for this first, MILD influx of rain, I am not anxious to see what the heavier storm later in the week brings. We are between 2 and 1/2″ and over 4″ down here on the South Coast. That can’t bode well for Paul’s Slide or Mud Creek.

2.5"as of 9:30am in Pear Valley. These days when NOAA says scattered or occasional showers here on the ground that means harder rain with a steady background of lighter rain. (No offense intended NOAA dudes.)
3.1" at Big Sur Station between 4 p.m. on 2/20 and 12 noon on 2/21.
