In all my growing up years there on the coast, we had one trick or treater, that was Sunshine Penny, still very little and accompanied by her dad Frank. We had to scramble to find something to give her. As it was we had fresh gum-drop cookies and gave her 3 of them. Happy Memories!

  I like what Palo Colorado Canyon did, putting all the kids on the fire engine and then driving up the canyon where residents could meet the truck on the road and hand out candies and see the costumes. Made infinite sense to me.
