Highway Closure Update, 6/4/18

Basically, nothing has changed. Mud Creek opening still anticipated for mid September, Paul’s Slide continues with one light, traffic signal controlled traffic. Here are this week’s photos:

  • Im trying to use google maps to get me from Monterey to Naciemento-Ferguson road but it’s diverting me to use 101. Is there any road closures somewhere? I know Naciemento-Ferguson Road is the alternative way to see half of Coastal Highway until it opens by the end of this year.

    • Google maps is good for the cities, but it can be worthless in some areas. I can’t tell you the number of people who have had to be rescued (some by me or my son) as a result of GPS or google maps. I have the maps you need on a separate page, on the side bar - interactive maps.
