Basically, nothing has changed. Mud Creek opening still anticipated for mid September, Paul’s Slide continues with one light, traffic signal controlled traffic. Here are this week’s photos:

Im trying to use google maps to get me from Monterey to Naciemento-Ferguson road but it’s diverting me to use 101. Is there any road closures somewhere? I know Naciemento-Ferguson Road is the alternative way to see half of Coastal Highway until it opens by the end of this year.
Google maps is good for the cities, but it can be worthless in some areas. I can’t tell you the number of people who have had to be rescued (some by me or my son) as a result of GPS or google maps. I have the maps you need on a separate page, on the side bar - interactive maps.
