OMG
Intentional or accident?
How much did that cost?
I am guessing he got stuck and couldn’t get back up. I dont believe it was an accident as whatever injuries, if there were any, did not require airlifting to a hospital, which would have been necessary, had he/she fallen.
Kate, cliff climbing / descending must be an offense - no matter what unless you're associated w/ S&R or OES!
Usually, it is a trespass.

I was there right after it happened. What I heard was a gentleman in his 60’s decided to forge his own trail back up the cliff and got stuck for a few hours before rescue came. This isn’t the first time someone has tried to do this and run into trouble. Moral of the story: Stay on the trail, don’t try to make your own trail.
That is exactly what I have speculated elsewhere. Glad he was okay, though, but really. Get smart, people!
