Kate, happy to see NF Little Bridge finally get some attention on how treacherous it can be..
No, they are talking about the bigger, Green Bridge, I think. It was hit by a big Army truck or something and damaged. It had been closed to all until the rains started, now it is not accessible by larger, heavier trucks due to the damage.

WOW I did not know that NF would take up to a 40’. I discourage everyone in anything larger than a large SUV. I will keep that info and share that is the largest vehicle. Anything larger will only be a problem for all involved. Thanks for the info Kate. Big Hugs during this week and further out. Love the name for your Sprinter.
It will NOT. There are signs that nothing longer than 30 ft is allowed.

Oh, and Pam, that is just the height and weight restriction for the Green Bridge on FHL, not for the USFS portion of Nacimiento, which, as I said is 30’

Kate , did you write up a last summer story with images of this green bridge or I must be thinking of another bridge in South County near FHL?
I did extensive coverage on another small bridge that locals call “10 mile bridge” because it is 10 miles from 1 on Nacimiento. It is on USFS land and is a county bridge The green bridge on FHL and a FHL bridge. It is green and I have posted numerous photos of it over the years.

Would I get through in my Sprinter Van?
Not if I am on Naci with mine – too narrow.

Nací no problem, my question was the green bridge and any restrictions.
If your rig is built out, I don’t know. I posted the weight limits for the Green Bridge and height, but for a normal Sprinter, not built out, should not be a problem.

Right on, Im well within the limits. Ive driven my Sprinter on serious roads in serious weather, extremely road worthy and great clearance.
