CALTRANS PUBLIC MEETINGS ON HIGHWAY 1 TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT PLAN

The Big Sur Coast Highway – A 100-mile majestic experience from Carmel to Hearst Castle – is experiencing travel pressures that could damage the very scenic qualities and natural beauty that make the area so precious.

Caltrans invites you to share in a public event to provide feedback on developing a sustainable Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plan.  The purpose for the public meetings will be to:

  • Discuss the Draft TDM Document, opportunities, and toolkit;
  • Set timelines for receiving public comments and feedback.

The public meetings will be held on the following dates and locations:

Tuesday, October 29th

South Public Meeting – 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in Cambria.

(For transportation information on how to get to this event, e-mail the Travel Trainer, Peter at traveltrainerslo@gmail.com)

Wednesday, October 30th
