  • Donation- great idea.
    If the fire brigades made up a list of needed/requested supplies that might give a ballpark figure for donations.

  • Donations to the local fire departments are not always just for supplies. Given that both Big Sur Fire and Mid Coast Fire do not receive any tax funds, a majority of the money given as donations goes to basic operational costs which exceed $200,000/year.
