Day Use Areas

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thursday, October 15, 2020

USFS today has authorized the reopening of Day Use areas of Pfeiffer Beach, Willow Creek, and Mill Creek. Limekiln State Park, Kirk Creek Campground and Plaskett Creek Campground remain closed until further notice.

I have Lived here my whole life and would love to drive down to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Is that also open to use the day use section?

  The day use area of the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park has been open for a while (a week or two? Can’t remember). This order only covers SOME of the day use areas of the Los Padres National Forest.
