It would be interesting to see photos of these same spots in subsequent years.
Wow, it's amazing to see how dramatically things have changed, it's hard to see clearly what happened on the west side of Junipero Serra peak (seen in those last 2 photos) but I do understand that the fire was pretty intense over there also.
Is "where the water is" the headwaters of the Nacimiento River?
