If I remember correctly, Madge Boyd was the hairdresser for Wm. Randolf Hearst’s actress girlfriend Marion Davies. Some of her story and Hearst’s relationship with Orson Welles is well portrayed in the recent film ‘Mank’. And… the southernmost Lone Redwood he refers to is just above the Buckeye trail. Ah, trivia.
