I asked Daniel Swain (Weather West) about this and he wrote: ”It’s possible, though not as much of a “slam dunk” as the last one (and would be much weaker in relative terms–much more squarely in the “beneficial” column, in any case).”

We'll take it. Actually more consistent rain events with breaks between storms is more beneficial and less of a threat to watersheds damaged by wildfires. A good snow pack would be great, too, while I'm making wishes and doing my rain dance...
