We are reminding residents to take any needed precautions as the storm approaches, including securing their homes or property with sandbags and signing up for emergency notifications.
If you live near any of the county’s burn scars, rivers, or other flood-prone areas, Monterey County has sandbags and sand stockpiles to help you protect your property during stormy weather.
