Gilbert’s Slide

These photos by Michael Handy clearly show the west/cliff side of the slide. These were taken yesterday and show how unstable that area is. The last photo points out how much water is coming out the side of that cliff.

  • This looks like the worst winter in decades for Big Sur. I hope the homes are safe and hopefully the roads won’t get any worse. it looks like it will take a while to fix.🫶
