Big Sur

Sunday Photos, 4/23/23

These were taken in my garden or surrounding area with an iPhone 12, last week. The first is my d’anjou pear, the second is my Indian peach, and the 3rd is a Quercus lobata coming back to leaf.

  • Lovely. They raise the spirits. Two gift hybiscuses (hybisci?) from last year bloomed this morning in our dining room window, survivors of a North East winter.

  • Lucky you!! I miss my gardens on Palo Colorado. We had cherries, peaches, pears, kiwis and loads of different berries. It’s a little to cool up here on the north coast, but my apples and blueberries are flowering. Enjoy your beautiful garden and the luscious fruit to come :))
