The 911 Emergency Guide, in electronic format, is now available free of charge for personal and family use. By understanding the emergency response’s critical steps, you’ll be better prepared to obtain the best possible outcome for your 911 emergency. Types of emergencies covered: medical, vehicle incident, structure fire, wild land-urban interface fire, rescue, and hazardous conditions. While written for adults, the 911 Emergency Guide is illustration-rich, making it a useful tool for teaching emergency safety to children
The Greater Big Sur Chipper Survey #2 Results are in, to supplement the Greater Big Sur Chipper Survey #1 Results. Thank you to all who participated. Survey #1 focused on the potential demand for a chipper service. Survey #2 focused on how we might deliver such a service. We continue to collaborate with other agencies to develop a county-wide and/or local chipper program.
