• Looks like a long way to go before reopening

• The color contrast isbeautiful.

• From "under erasure" to "under repair." Impressive if frustrating.

• If hadn't read multiple reports of moving all of the material I could be easily convinced that Cal Trans is creating a new roadbed up slope from the existing roadbed. It's fun to fantasize about it anyway!

• These look like watercolor paintings!

• Will the eventual road be at the upper level? No wonder there's no opening timeline.

• The way it looks now is one good winter away from infinite repairs. Or, be here now.

• We lived at Lucia growing up (many moons ago) and that area always had a drop of several inches a year. It blows my mind to see what an overwhelming project this is for Caltrans! Prayers all goes well that this reconstruction will overcome an area which always was a problem!
