• Meanwhile, back here on Earth in the present moment, we have dry lighting visible from upper Greenridge, caused by the influence of Hurricane Jova off the coast of Baja California. Hopefully this is not here we go again (2008).

• By 5 am, lightning strikes show up on my lightning app near Soledad. Hopefully not ground strikes.

• The loudest thunder clap I ever heard was this a.m. @ 4! Must have been super close to us. Luckily no fires yet.

  IMHO: Mother Nature will create our havoc here on the SC of Big Sur now that the gates are locked on the dirt roads and the other countries Kate mentioned are too far away from us for DEW impact. Thanks, Kate for providing us with the explanation.
