I love this book!
When I was very young, my mom introduced me to the writings of Rachel Carson. Also Suzanne Simard “Finding the Mother Tree” is another blissful journey through the forest💚.
In the fall of (1960?), whilst counting trees for the U. S. Forest Service in the upper Feather River Country, the air was perfectly still.
