Rain predictions

While scattered showers will persist for the next 3 days, all meteorological eyes are on Sunday to Monday’s storm. For Sunday and Monday from NWS-North Bay: “Impacts from rain and wind appear likely, with a particular focus on the Santa Cruz and Santa Lucia ranges. Forecast rain amounts have increased, with most likely totals in the 3-7″ range for the coastal ranges….”

  • Not sure why they even bother to tell us that the road will be open late spring...too many factors haven't played out yet. What was the longest time Highway 1 has been closed like this?

  • Not sure why they have said the highway should open late spring...with all of this weather, that seems a tad optimistic. What is the longest time this road has been closed? It's been over a year now.
