That's a beautiful plant! But when I looked up "tree poppy" it gave me Matilija poppy", which is not this yellow flowered bush. Do you happen to know it's botanical name? Thanks!
Dendromecon rigida, also called bush poppy or tree poppy, is a shrub or small tree of the Papaveracee native to California and Baja California. (Wikipedia) I will add a screen shot to the post for others.
Just beautiful!
Aka "brush" to firefighters.
