I am so saddened to have just heard of Steve's passing. Steve was wonderful to work with (even when he was being critical of my projects) and he looked out for his Community. He was always candid about his opinions, downright feisty, and always open to clever solutions. He was a wonderful anchor on the Big Sur Land Use Advisory Committee and critical getting Clear Ridge a state water appropriations permits. I will miss talking shop with Steve and just plain catching up. A wonderful, wonderful person.
An incredible man who cared deeply about Big Sur. He was passionate about the importance of the Land Use Plan and was one of the strongest voices in our community in protecting this place we all love. Thank you Steve for your decades of dedication and teaching many of us how to have constructive conversations regarding many of our concerns about the future of Big Sur. You will be missed dearly!
