I think that donation needs another "0"at the end of it....... Be generous production company! Thank you.
It’s hard to believe Monterey County and Caltrans are still issuing filming permits at Bixby Bridge when the County had to create a special task force just to deal with the chaos there. Traffic jams, unsafe crossings, people parking in dangerous spots — it’s out of control, and the agencies know it.
So why would they then turn around and approve filming that will only advertise the bridge to millions more people? It makes no sense. A token $1,000 donation to Big Sur Fire doesn’t even begin to cover the long-term impact on the community. Until the task force has real solutions in place, no film permits should be issued at Bixby Bridge. What do you think Kate?
Does anyone issuing these permits have any common sense? Let’s promote an already extremely problematic area on Highway 1. It always comes down to money and decisions being made by people in offices that obviously don’t have to drive by the Bixby Bridge mess on a daily basis. Shameful!
