Oh, how I miss the California poppies! I wish I could get some seeds from Big Sur! I know I can buy some seeds, but they would not be the same as knowing they came from my "home" ... Big Sur... I was blessed to have lived there from 1953-1970. To me the Big Sur-south is HOME! GORGEOUS PICTURES! I always loved 😍 the floral grove near where the Pacific Valley Store was! I attended Pacific Valley school from 2nd thru 8th grade. Back then it was in the old army barracks, we saw the 1st. building of the current school being built, and we're the 1st ones to occupy it. There were only 12 of us are the time!
