This blog may be on “hold” for a few days. My mother is in the hospital and was just “upgraded” from the regular unit to the “step down” unit. It is the one just below critical care.

Trying to get things in order so I can go to Redondo Beach for a few days, sometime this week, I hope.

Calls last night indicate that mom's condition is not life-threatening at the moment. She got a blood transfusion yesterday. Still planning on leaving tomorrow, Tuesday, but back on Thursday, so a quick trip.
