As you know, Kate, I don't know where this is but I have to comment because your photo brought back memories of my childhood. Our family was lucky enough to live on a lake when I was young. I remember a lodge two homes down from us. We used to wait for them to open every spring because they would string lights all along the front porch and down the sides. They would hire entertainment on week-ends and my sisters and I would sit on our beach enjoying the music and the beautiful lights.
Well, I forgot to identify the last two Random Photos of Big Sur. This one is the Roadhouse! Serves great California/Mexican food. Opens at 5:30 pm.
