I can't tell you how many times Gudith Goodwin , in Sycamore Cyn , organized evening local resident fire watch patrols , near the Pfeiffer Beach uplands , but I also paid my dues . So what is it with the admisitraters of public lands , not being able to police the lands they are hired to protect ?
Would love to see you there!
Brilliant photographs, moon's not bad either. June 22 is my birthday, this wasn't easy to organize but I thought the planet ought to have really great skies tonight.
Happy Birthday, Barbara! You made me smile, as you so often do. You organized this quite well!

Just beautiful....I enjoyed here on Clear Ridge as well, but you captured it so beautifully!
Great photos... love the ring around the moon in both shots.
June 22nd was my b'day, too! The moon was actually at its closest approach to the planet for the year at 4:30am Sunday morning.
Happy belated birthday to you, too, Suzi. Quite a gift you received!
