Reno is at 4700, gets lots of snow, but lots of areas of high desert. This is an arboretum, that is cared for by the county, donated by Wilbur D. Mays. It is beautiful.
This is not far from where I lived in Reno. The area I was in was right on the Truckee River near downtown with lots of trees. A special are of Reno.
