What these photos do not show, thus the dangerousness, is the view up top. There is a whole hillside breaking loose.

Rock Knocker has been taking photos of this area since 1980. He has claimed the entire slide are. I’ve posted photos of this last year, 2011, and 2010. You can find a few at these links:
