  • Thank you for the posted info. Much appreciated, indeed.

My neighbors and I are discussing this very issue tonight to decide if the Wednesday 5:30 am gate opening will occur as normally scheduled, the 12 noon Wednesday caravan will occur as usual, and the evening 7:00 pm opening will occur as planned.

In my best Shakespeare voice... To try the gate, or not to try the gate? That is the question. :-)

For our clarity, as we seek to understand the Caltrans announcement, the normal gate schedule resumes starting on Tuesday evening, May 30, in "passable" status, with scheduled access times until the next assessment, pending no new rock slides?

I guess I will try my luck at 5:30 am and hope to get back in at noon. :-)

    Mike

    • Your reading of the Cal Trans announcement conforms with my understanding of what they are saying. But, of course, all subject to the whims and moods of a very moody lady, lately - Mother Nature.
