  • Interesting. This is an ambitious document and provides good restrictions. I do find it somewhat lacking re wildlife, though. It does mention dogs should be on leash in river corridors, but I think it’s important that dogs should be on leash at all times in order to reduce conflicts with wildlife - and others with dogs. Up in Tahoe, there is an organization that puts big boxes at all trailheads that dispenses not only poop bags, but you then deposit your full bags in another part of the box on the way out. It is emptied several times a week and new bags are added daily. Our experience in Tahoe is that they are widely, consistently used.
